2016 Sullivan’s Haircamp Wrap Video

Were you there in all your 80’s glory?! The colorful spandex and neon lights lazering around only highlighted (no pun intended) the energetic vibe of the weekend. This 2-day super-charged event included everything from an educational show performance… to 4 jam-packed, hands-on workshops… to costume contests, dance parties, & glow bowling galore!

But this year’s hair show was no ordinary celebration of stylist education.  This one was special because we honored and paid tribute to the the greatCB Sullivan— The founding father of New England’s 1st family of beauty and executor of the most legendary hair shows around. CB was an industry icon whose love for these events were unsurpassed. He combined a strong educational value with excitement, energy and FUN. This year’s Sullivan’s Haircamp was nothing short of the memorable experience CB always inspired us with.

Leading the way were two of the nation’s hottest globe-trotting stylists and international Paul Mitchell PLATFORM ARTISTS. Through their expertise, they motivated and mentored participants with the latest trends in color, cutting, and styling, providing the most beneficial HANDS-ON training available. Four back-to-back workshops guided stylists through the industry’s latest innovative trends, techniques, and new color options.

Not to mention, the “First Lady of Nails” and queen of the cuticle, Jessica Vartoughian, joined us straight from the Sunset Strip for a meet & greet sharing insight on the direction of today’s nail industry. While Tammy Printy & Cindy Mabadi of European-based INVISIBOBBLE taught updo techniques with their time-saving hair ring.

Watch this montage video to see the excitement that ensued. We hope to see you all at our next show!

And a Big Congrats goes out to our contest winners:

– Heather Skoby of Vivid Salon, Concord for the best bowling score of 132

 – Jason Drapeau of 5 Diamond Salon, Manchester for best individual costume as an epic Spice Girl

Jen Hafford, Cindy Littlefield, Lisa Markie, Carrie Michaud, Carly Cropley, Laura Thompson, Tera Copley of Transitions Hair and Tanning, Lincoln Maine for their group costume with their Madonna Through the Decades ensemble
