Looking Back To Where It All Started

Sullivan’s Offer Barber, Beauty Supplies

A name synonymous with barber supplies in the Queen City, and throughout the state, for the past 30 years is that of the C.B. SULLIVAN CO. at 1361 Elm St.

Charles and Claire Sullivan, owners, moved their store to the Elm street location about two years ago from South Main Street. As a result they are now able to carry an expanded line of barber and beauty supplies for their wholesale and retail customers.

This old, reliable firm has a most complete line of barber supplies and carries many popular and well known brands such as Redken, Stephan’s, Wildroot, Noonan’s, Jeris, Hask, and others too numerous to mention.

C.B. SULLIVAN can supply barber fronts, cabinets, cases, barber chairs, chairs for styling by Belmont, Koken and the new ModeCraft chair which is beautifully designed and reasonably priced.

Shop appliances such as dryers, (many kinds and prices) clippers (all professional lines and makes) and accessories for these appliances such as blades and clipper parts are available at SULLIVAN’S.

Wigs in every style and color are in generous supply at C.B. Sullivan including the very new capless wigs by Fun Tex, Fashion Tress and Venicelone.

Hot combs by Continental Jet Dry, Dubl-Duk and Hallmark are carried by the C.B. SULLIVAN CO. as well as the complete new line of Rega-Cut men’s hair styling products.

If you are in the market for a hair dryer see the Sullivans for either the Hand-Haar-Trockner Professional Dryer, the Muehllos Dryer, the Hitachi, the Selectric, the Jet Dryer or the Oster professional dryer.

The Sullivans ship overnight by United Parcel Service with a small shipping charge. Telephone 603-624-4752.

On Sunday, April 9, the C.B. SULLIVAN CO. and the Redken Laboratories, Inc. present a scientific approach to men’s hairstyling with Rudy DeCrescenzo, stylist, at the Holiday Inn, Manchester, from 2 to 6 p.m.

DeCrescenzo, who is a member of the Redken Laboratories team, is a highly trained professional with many years of experience in the barber-styling field. He owns his own shop and is a very talented stylist as well as a seasoned businessman.

Sam Schweiger, who for many years has been a manufacturer’s representative in the barber and beauty profession, is also expected to be at the program. He is district manager for Redken in the Northeast.
