Surface was established in 2008 in Saskatchewan, Canada by third-generation hairstylist, salon owner, and international platform artist, Wayne Grund. A former recipient of the coveted, “Educator of the Year,” award, Wayne’s work has been seen throughout trade magazines, mainstream publications, and on several television networks. While Wayne’s educational and artistic expertise bring notoriety to his brand, it is his salon, Visions Salon and Spa, having been awarded 1 of the Top 10 Salons in Canada that he is most proud of because it is a testament to the exceptional business support that Surface offers to salons who embrace his brand.
